:: joe-job ::
What exactly is a Joe-job? Google, and Wikipedia define it as:
  • A Joe job is an e-mail spam designed to tarnish the reputation of an innocent third party. Despite having existed since at least 1996, Joe jobs are uncommon compared to other types of spam because they provide no commercial benefit to the Joe jobber.
There is someone out there, who has decided that they really like richardharman.com, to the point where they are sending spam from it. Today (May 1, 2005) alone, I've received over 1,000 bounces (or notifications that the spam was rejected).

Let me make it perfectly clear: I am not sending this spam.

You can help though.

Report the spam message to SpamCop.NET. Don't send it to SpamCop.COM, they appear to be some knock-off service that probally won't do much. After you've reported it, you're done. Hopefully the spammers will get shut down, or at the very least put on a blacklist.
